Currently, marijuana is illegal (in most places.) What would be the result if it were to be legalized across the United States?

  1. Bell Work: Today's bell work is a little cliche for an English class, but talk about what you did over Spring Break.  Remember, this is done in your spiral and in blue or black INK. 80 words for Honors, 70 words for Regular.

    1. This is an introduction to the novel we are about to begin.
    2. Do the assignment in a Google Doc.  This is an INDIVIDUAL assignment, not group or partner work.  
    3. If Google Docs is not working, do the work on your own paper.  I've heard that Google Docs is not working due to bandwidth issues.  Sorry!
    4. Due Friday
    5. We will work on it in class tomorrow.  Today and tomorrow will be the only two days we will work on it in class.

Welcome back!  I hope you had a great Spring Break and are ready for a VERY busy spring.  The plan for the next couple of weeks: Video Projects are due on Wednesday (test grade), make sure you have the book Drive by Dan Pink by Monday, March 25th.  We will be concurrently reading The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Drive by Dan Pink, and working on some writing assignments.  There will be quite a bit of out-of-class assignments, so be prepared to work!

    4. Uncheck "Written and True False"
    5. Change it to 50 questions
    6. Click Reconfigure
    7. DO NOT CHEAT!  IF YOU CHEAT, IT WILL BE A ZERO AND A WRITE-UP!  Just be honest!  Really!  Your conscience will thank you.
